What Our Patients Say
Dr. James Zalucki

The building he works in is old. Seems like it's been there since the 70s or something. They've been doing some interior work, I guess to bring it up to date. The inside of Zalucki's practice is very small and narrow. His equipment is old as well.
He has 2 women who work for him. Neither is warm and welcoming. One does the scheduling and the other sets the appointments and stands in as Zalucki examines patients. One of the women (Theresa?) looks like she's been working for him since the 1980s and has an 80s hairstyle from when hairspray reigned supreme. She can sound a bit condescending. I got certain vibes from her, and some will understand what I mean when I say that.
The receptionist you see when you enter seems like she really does not enjoy her job or stays stressed all the time. She always looks annoyed. My first visit I was taken to the exam room by her. I was told to drop my pants and bend over a chair that had some aged/torn leather which electronically levitated downward. I wasn't expecting her to hold my hand, but this was my first time experiencing this type of exam and I was already uncomfortable. I felt like I was piece of cattle. While Dr. Zalucki came in and explained what he was doing as he examined me, it was not a good first impression or experience.
I've heard both women talk about a patient after one got off the phone with them, which I found unprofessional. The one who appears as though she does not want to work there or stays stressed is the ringleader in terms of talking about patients when she gets off the phone with them. That only tells me they talk about me too when I call.
Albeit the interpersonal skills of the receptionists/assistants, they do run a smooth ship in terms of appointments and scheduling. Zalucki is a good doctor. He did a successful surgery on me.
I ended up needing surgery and he and his staff made sure I was relaxed and comfortable before and after. I would highly recommend him to anyone with the same issues.
