Our Doctors & Staff

Baltimore, Maryland

Colon and Rectal Specialists

Recognized by their peers as top specialists in colon and rectal problems, the specialists at Colon Rectal Surgical Associates perform a greater volume of colon resection and anorectal surgery than nearly any other group in the state of Maryland.

We are leaders in the field of laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery, performing between 200 and 300 colon resections annually; we also perform colonoscopy procedures to screen for cancer, as well as the newer PPH (Procedure for Prolapse & Hemorrhoids), recommended for patients with internal hemorrhoids requiring surgical intervention. Our specialists conduct seminars here in Maryland and throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, instructing other surgeons on proper laparoscopic procedures.

CRSA’s doctors are double-boarded in both general surgery and colorectal surgery; our patients consistently have shorter hospital lengths of stay, fewer returns to surgery, and lower postoperative complication rates, as compared to both statewide and nationwide statistics.

Our doctors are not only double-boarded in general surgery and colon-rectal surgery, but have a combined over 40 years of surgical experience.
